Alex was formerly employed as a Principal Consulting Architect at Elastic (the makers of Elasticsearch and related technologies), and prior to that worked as a Senior Consulting Engineer at MongoDB. Alex has a Masters Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, a B.Sc. from the University of Manitoba, and an MBA from the IESE Business School.
